With the publication of GHOST RUNNERS by ALL THINGS THAT MATTER PRESS and sold on Amazon.com my dream has been realized. Now the sequel..a story of racism and evil dreams when a flapper uncovers truths and brings historical fiction into the light of horror.

Writing and alphabet soup
Writers must use words but the silences are so much more expressive, the air in the mountains more vital, and the feelings of lovers more certain. Every story has a crosswalk to consider. Once the letter 'a' is written, the other letters must fall in line like soldiers diving into alphabet soup. I had an argument with my character today. I wanted her to act demurely and not to be so fanciful. Instead, she tossed a banana out the car and tried to jump out the gondola of a hot air balloon. Writers can force the writing, but it is also fun to see characters develop in ways unintended. At the end of the day, the thought..was it well said...could it have been better written....is there one reader whom your words inspired...is never truly answered. We hope for an audience, but are usually alone for thousands and thousands of letters, words , or false beginnings taken. Still, with all that groping, the scribbling is something we must do, despite the limitations of the alphabet soup and our own imaginations. 'Wonder what you think about this,' I say toward my solitary prose.
