getting reviews

I sent out Ghost Runners to two places for review. There's a summer lull and a lazy fourth coming. A few weeks ago, I read my work and thought it was great. Then, I read it again, and thought it lousy. So, like painting over the same spot, I wrote again some of my more tortured, phrases until I got it right. I realise i use the same words over and over again :already, even, gather. Words like these...or those...I like my book. I think I bring a lyrical voice to a time without song. We'll see, gradually.
